Are you new to handguns or looking to reconnect with the basics? Our First Shots class is the perfect introduction. In a comfortable and informal atmosphere, you’ll join other novices to learn the fundamentals of handgun safety, handling and shooting.
Our three-hour, co-ed class is limited to 12 participants, ensuring personalized attention as you practice with both .22 caliber revolvers and semi-auto pistols on our state-of-the-art indoor range. For just $59.95, everything you need is provided — just bring your enthusiasm! After the session, you’ll walk away not only with newfound knowledge but also with your target as a keepsake to share your achievement.
Second Shots: Advancing to Centerfire Handguns
Graduating from the basics, our Second Shots class introduces you to the exhilarating world of centerfire handguns. Building on the .22LR experience from First Shots, you’ll step up to shooting .38 special and .357 revolvers, as well as 9mm semi-auto pistols, during this three-hour class.
Our curriculum dives into ammunition basics, handgun parts and operation, proper aiming and the nuances of low-light shooting, including the use of night sights and tactical flashlights. Priced at $59.95, It’s a dynamic and engaging class that will enhance your shooting skills in a variety of conditions.
Third Shots: Completing Your CCW Training
The three-course journey concludes with our Third Shots class, providing the final two hours of training required for your Ohio CCW license application. This classroom-only session delves into the legalities and practicalities of carrying a concealed weapon. Despite Ohio’s constitutional carry law, obtaining a CCW license has its advantages, such as reciprocity with other states and a streamlined background check process. For $49.95, you’ll cover essential topics such as carry zones, restrictions and home storage. Upon completion of the class, you will receive the training certificate you need to apply for your Ohio Concealed Carry license.
